His television career kicked off at the Nigeria Television Authority as a presenter, producer and director on popular magazine/light entertainment programmes such as 'Tops of the pops' and 'Super sounds'.

Olisa then went on to present, produce and direct four different weekly programmes like clapperboard Rap show and soul with sprite for Nigerians first independent private Television station, Clapperboard Television.

From 1998 to 2008, Olisa hosted the number one afternoon drive time radio show on Cool fm till he moved in 2009 to launch the current No. 1 radio station in Nigeria as the morning drive-time host and programme director on THE BEAT 99.9 FM.
