Sand Eagles Set For FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup In Bahamas
The Nigeria Sand Eagles will leave the shores of the country today as they look set to partake in the 9th edition of the Fifa Beach soccer world cup in the Bahamas starting next week. The Sand Eagles have been missing in action at the world stage since 2011 in Ravenna.
Eight players out of the final 12 will be leaving alongside the technical crew today while the remaining four will depart for the Bahamas next tuesday, April 25, 2017. The team is expected to arrive in Nassau, Bahamas tomorrow and get acclimatised before their opening group B game against Italy next Thursday.
